JUST EROTIC ROMANCE REVIEWS

Delicious from page one WyndRaider had it all, drama, action, and plenty of carnal activities. To say I enjoyed my time with the story would be an understatement,
even if I could not pronounce half of the characters names. The plot held my attention as I found myself
speeding through the sex scenes in order to get back to the emotional drama. It was hard to view any of the characters as evil. General Meilich abducted
Lillian for nefarious purposes, but I just could not bring myself to hate him and I dont believe Lillian could either. Despite the circumstances, he showed her that
something memorable could happen in the bedroom. The interactions were extremely hot and damn near caused me to spring from my seat. Who could detest the man that
taught them the true meaning of sex? Oh, General Meilich was a prelude to Saxxon Kell. He instilled more fear in me than the other man,
but he also drew me more into his carnal web. Kell oozed masculinity. I would not want the man as my enemy, but I would definitely let him into my bed. I cant imagine what it would feel like to have all that raw power at my fingertips. Ms. Boyett-Compo created an extraordinary world where people had weird names and epic romances. Im dying to visit again.

ROMANCE JUNKIES REVIEWS

WYNDRAIDER is a fascinating fantasy adventure. I chose this book for review because I am a vampire fan and both Kell and Meilich are vampiric in nature. Although I don't normally read what I would consider straight fantasy, I was totally bowled over by Ms. Boyett-Compo's world, characters and plot line. I enjoyed WYNDRAIDER immensely, even though it is slightly outside my comfort zone, and would be thrilled to read more about this intriguing world. The world building is awesome, the characters are well-rounded and very human despite the fantasy nature of their existence and the story keeps you turning the pages. Although Kell is 'the good guy' and Meilich 'the bad guy' they both have good and bad in their natures and by the end of the tale both are heroes in their own ways. Lillian is a strongly written female lead, which I always find enjoyable. The romance is real and gritty, nothing sweet and light here. The sex scenes are earthy and sensual. I found WYNDRAIDER to be an absolute delight to read and would love to delve into this world further.

GOTTA WRITE NETWORK
Definitely 5 bites out 5
As the story developed, I was torn as to which man she should choose. By the time the story twists and the men are forced to work together you will be in love with both of them.
Though the story is about vampires, Charlotte avoided all the horror vampire cliches and presents a very believable story of two strong men that surpasses their race. I found it a gripping adventure, with a lot of steamy romance.

TWO LIPS REVIEWS

Charlotte Boyett-Compo has created in WyndRaider an entire world of fantasy where her imagination soars. Her storytelling skill pulled me into this world and I felt as if I were watching it unfold instead of reading it. Lillian is feisty, honest, strong and compassionate, but she can be firm when needed. Lillian possesses all the qualities needed for a believable heroine. Saxxon Kell is all male. He may be a little arrogant, but he also has a conscience. The secondary characters add just enough spice and intrigue to this complex story. I would like to see this storyline made into a series.

ROMANCE REVIEWS TODAY EROTIC
With WYNDRAIDER, the reader can feel the bitter cold and searing heat as two old enemies have to work together. Blood, pain, betrayal, loyalty, revived traditions, and friendship fill the pages in the telling of this fascinating, near-barbaric society. There are many other characters: Saxxons second, General Tremont Giles and his wife, Anastasia, Baron Collin Bethir, Saxxons biological father and his wife, Baroness Helen; Meilichs second, Andre Fenault; Lady Daniva, her mother Constance and brother Quinton; Glenny, Helga, Nellie, Ione, Judith, Lanelle, and Father Gerard all add to the drama. Charlotte Boyett-Compo gives us a tightly-woven story of harsh landscapes, where it is a struggle for survival, women are considered chattel and the veneer of civilization often cracks and peels away. Lillian is the closest thing to a damsel-in-distress that I have come across in the authors works, but that is only because she has absolutely NO say so in her own existence. I had chills running up and down my spine at parts of WYNDRAIDER and I recommended it very much.

8 out of 10
WyndRaider is full of passion on several levels; from Lillians fight to survive, to Saxxons quest to secure his woman, to the battle between Milich and Saxxon. Along with the passion is the action that never ends, that grabs you with Saxxon entering the kings chamber to the last page. Charlotte Boyett-Campo creates intricate worlds with a variety of unusual characters and complex cultures. As for chemistry, be prepared for your computer to overheat.
WyndRaider is another must read from Charlotte Boyett-Compo. It delivers on the promise of sensual entertainment. The cover by Syneca is mouth-watering. Mary Moranis is also to be commended for an excellent editing job. The book is a delicious team effort. Dont miss it.

BITTEN BY BOOKS REVIEWS

This book takes place in a very descriptive and rich world created by Ms. Boyett-Compo. I usually don’t read books like this because I have trouble keeping everything straight, but this one I loved. The characters were very detailed as was the world in which they live. After Kell and Caisil-Chro started their trip together, you could somewhat see what might happen between them but you were not entirely sure. I really liked how that part turned out and it also makes me wonder if there will be another book with these characters. I certainly hope so because now that I know them better, I would love to read more about them. Definitely get this book. There’s so much that happens in it, it’s hard to really condense it in a review.

EROTIC-ESCAPADES

With a great story line and a strong set of characters that I enjoyed getting to know, WyndRaider is the perfect book
to curl up with on a cold night because it will heat you up from the inside out. I loved it from start to finish, the plot was well
written and logical, the characters were ones I could relate to, and even the ‘bad’ guy was someone I liked! I liked him so
much that I think he should get his own HEA! He and Saxxon began the novel as the worst of enemies but when Lillian
falls ill, they learn that in order to save her life they must work together. In the end, they wind up, if not friends, then at
least allies, who together saved the woman that they both love. I found no plot holes or glaring inconsistencies; in fact, all
of the loose ends were neatly tied up, a must in a romance novel.
I recommend WyndRaider for its solid plot, intense love scenes and appealing storyline. I gave WyndRaider a solid 4
Red Tattoo rating for its sensuality. The obvious love that Lilian has for Saxxon shines through in everything she does
and says. Sparks begin to fly the moment she meets Saxxon and never stop. Their scenes are hot and fiery or gentle
and sweet, either way, they leave you wanting more! From their first love scene to the last scene in the book, he is a hero
worthy of her affection and her love, far more than her so-called husband, and if she had ended up with Meilich, he was
worthy of her love, as well.
Ms. Boyett-Compo did a wonderful job of drawing me into her world and it is certainly one I will want to visit again and
again. WyndRaider is a stand-alone book and I read it with no knowledge of others in the series. However, with a quick
trip to Ms. Boyett-Compo’s website, I quickly discovered that there are more stories set in the world of the Wynd
series, and I’ll be happily swept away to her world for some time to come!
