THE WYNDMASTER'S LADY is a tale of love lost and regained, danger, intrigue, lush scenery, well-defined characters and poetic justice. In spite of all that has been done to him, Sierran is still capable of compassion and gentleness with the frightened Celeste. There are the very good, represented by Sierran's crew, and very evil as represented by Sierran's family, the vicious general Thurston and his cohorts, and Celeste's father. In addition, there are plot twists leading to quite a satisfying surprise ending. Charlotte Boyett-Compo knows how to tell a wonderful story. THE WYNDMASTER'S LADY takes us on a journey through a maze that adds a three-dimensional society to Ms. Boyett-Compo's megaverse. It is a keeper.

FALLEN ANGEL REVIEWS

The Wyndmaster’s Lady is a remarkable read that explodes with passion, romance and an undying love. Celeste shows strength and determination even when faced with pain and suffering. I felt empathy for Sierran with the treatment and cruelty that he endured. He is not a quitter and would not let anyone beat him down. Both characters are spirited and their intense chemistry heightens each time they are together. Charlotte Boyett-Compo creates a visual read that allows the reader to get lost in the emotions, the drama and the whole ambience of this compelling tale. This is one poignant read that delivers action at its finest. It has everything: love, hate, romance, passion, bickering and so much more. This is one highly recommended read that I enjoyed immensely.

PARANORMAL ROMANCE REVIEWS
THE WYNDMASTER’S LADY is a fantastic story of betrayal, madness and love. Once again Charlotte Boyett-Compo proves her talent as a weaver of wonderful tales. As always with Charlotte’s stories, we see just how terrible one man can treat another. To compensate for this, we also have a love meant to be. This story took me through a gamut of emotions, from anger to the way Sierran is abused, to humor with some of the things Celeste comes out with. And I love the ending. Pure poetic justice. As with all of Charlotte Boyett-Compo’s works, I highly recommend this story. I love Charlotte’s work, and this one doesn’t disappoint. Chere

WHIPPED CREAM REVIEWS

Heroes come in many forms. So do monsters. Some people rise above their station while others sink to new depths. In The Wyndmaster’s Lady, the characters do this and more.
Ms. Boyett-Compo’s work is intriguing. Her characters are intelligent and captivating. Her antagonist is brilliantly evil, while the protagonists work together to bring about the climax. Although there were many characters to follow, the story never waned. I liked the unique mix of historical and fantastical. That mix drew me into the story and held my attention to the last page. I also liked that the antagonist wasn’t always clear and that the evil characters were truly evil.
My favorite scene was the initial love scene on the boat. What could’ve come across as contrived or silly was written in a very human fashion. Who was honestly suave the first time they made love?
If you like historicals, then The Wyndmaster’s Lady is for you. If you prefer fantasy titles, again, grab this book. I give this unique novel 4 ˝ cherries.

BITTEN BY BOOKS

Fantastic, utterly fantastic. For a teenager that has been cloistered all her life, Celeste is remarkable level headed and I loved that though very able, she still has weaknesses that make her more believable and a likable character at that. Utterly evil and totally insane, Lord Charles is very well depicted as Charlotte Boyett-Compo shows the reader what he is rather then just telling them what he does. This story definitely has some very humorous moments that made me chuckle, particularly the ever curious Celeste’s introduction to sex. Mental and physical torture, breathtaking romance, loyal men, beyond horrid families, and the proof that there is nothing stronger then a woman protecting her loved ones is quite apparent in this tale. Every moment is vividly written and the characters are quite well done. I highly enjoyed this story that combines the essence of tales of old with new twists.

Dr. Norman Wilson Reviews
I have just read my first erotic romance novel. And it has been an interesting experience. This is true because of the author, Charlotte Boyett-Compo . In her WyndMaster's Lady (Samhain Publishing, Ltd) Compo strokes the emotions as a lover does his mistress. Her description is well placed to drain every ounce of sympathy as the gallant commander Sierran Morgan is slowly and mercilessly flayed to the exploding passion unleashed by his torturer's beautiful daughter, Celeste. The plot, though thinly disguised, is nevertheless the key element to this stimulating bit of erotica.
The two protagonists, Sierran and Celeste are both prisoners; he in the dungeon on her father's estate while she is kept from the world by her murderous father. It is this very fact that ultimately bonds the two together in an explosive sexual union. . . that carries them to the end of the book. If you like high erotic romance this one is a must read.
