TWO-LIPS REVIEWS

I love Charlee Compo’s Reaper books! As a longtime fan, when I saw this one come out, I knew I had to grab it the minute it came up for review. Like myself, Wynter is 59, single and has a Maine Coon kitty. However, unlike Wynter, I can only wish I had two such sexy scoundrels vying for my attentions. Just don't pay any attention to the guys representing them on the cover. Kaegan has long hair and Azzin is blonde, not to mention he's definitely not the type to wear cowboy hats. I wish publishers and cover artists would get these things right!
Although Winds Through Time begins a bit slow, this is a storyline that requires a slow start. The intrigue picks up gradually, until you’re thoroughly engaged in the lives of these very likeable characters. Women of my age will relate well to Wynter, and her emotional turmoil will tug at every reader’s heartstrings. Kaegan is just too sweet and sexy to resist. Even Azzin has his moments. After all, a cat lover can’t be all bad, right? Azzin grabbed a spot in my heart when he went to such great lengths to make sure Wynter had her precious Butterbean with her and that he was comfortably ensconced. Without giving away any spoilers, I hope to see Azzin again in one of Charlee Compo's books.
This is one of Ms. Compo's rare stand-alone novels, but since we get to meet Viraidan and Bronnie again in it, I believe it would be best read after Blackwind 2: Viraidan and Bronwyn. In some ways, reading this story was like reading two books. In the beginning, the writing alternates between Deborah’s lifetime and Wynter’s. There are also scenes from the book Wynter is currently writing, in which it was fun to watch her pattern her characters after Kaegan and Azzin.
I won’t give away how this story ends, but I have to say that Winds Through Time was well worth reading. Charlee Compo fans will absolutely love it!

ROMANCE STUDIO

The novel has explicit moments that are nicely incorporated giving us a better understanding of the triangular reciprocal affair. One of the best parts of the story is the story telling within the novel, along with the triangle love affair between the three main characters. There is sadness from the loss of a close friend, strength, love, laughing along with wit and justice, Reaper versus demon justice.
I really like the novel, mostly for what I didn’t anticipate.

PARANORMAL ROMANCE REVIEWS
Once again, Charlotte Boyett-Compo delivers an exciting read in WINDS THROUGH TIME. I really loved the way Wynter’s writing was woven throughout the story and how it turned out to be the stories of her past lives with Cree. Have to admit, I found this story just as compelling as all the others I have read by Charlotte Boyett-Compo. And there’s a bonus in this story, I got to find out how characters from other stories are getting on now.
