Ellora’s Cave brings readers the newest Cavemen anthology with SEASONS OF SEDUCTION II. Between the covers of this book you will find a variety of genres by six very talented authors. These stories are all full of emotional appeal, realistic characters, plots that keep the reader riveted to the pages and of course, plenty of sex scenes for readers to salivate over (be sure not to drool into the keyboard if you’re reading an e-book). Wendy's Summer Job: Wendy Cole’s stepmother is making her life a nightmare. Just because she doesn’t agree with Wendy’s choice of following her dreams and studying to be an actress, the witch has cut off all financial support which means Wendy has to find a job for the summer - fast! When she finds a business advertising for an ‘Extraordinary Receptionist’ she applies and quickly learns that this job comes with many more perks than she could have anticipated - three hot brothers who are in dire need of her ‘services.’ This fairytale like story is simply delightful. While at first I wasn’t sure what to think of Wendy’s easy acceptance of the various ‘duties’ assigned to her, I found her upbeat personality and enjoyment of her peculiar situation witty and exciting. In addition I got a huge kick out of the prologue to this story. It is completely unlike the dark fantasies this author typically writes. The author's note at the beginning says, "Please read little Wendy's story with your tongue firmly tucked in your sweet little cheek and expect the words to be a pretty shade of purple." Enjoy! Seasons of Seduction II, a part of the Ellora's Cavemen series, is a wonderful anthology that kept me up for days, reading the whole book almost continuously. I wish I could have called in sick to finish without silly interruptions like sleep and work. I enjoyed the stories separately and as an anthology, felt the book flowed well from story to story. I could find a connection with each chapter even though each one was an excellent stand alone story. This is the one of the reasons Ellora’s Cave has had such success with their anthologies. .....Wendy’s Summer Job is the hot and shocking contemporary that I enjoy with amazingly hot heroes. For an excellent collection of short stories readers will love Seasons of Seduction II. The stories from all the authors were very strong, and well rounded....Then you have the last story, Wendy's Summer Job by Charlotte Boyett-Compo, this author has always known how to write a great story, and this one is no different. This story was pure "Heat", but there was so much more than that which made it well worth your time to read. The way these three men made her feel was so erotic, but also beautiful. What woman has not dreamed of something like this happening to them? All of us. I enjoyed this anthology very much and I want to read it over and over again; a "Great" book. When reviewing an anthology with more than three books it’s difficult to give each story the attention they deserve and keep you, the reader of this review, interested! However, in general, each story would be given the same glowing review. All six of these stories are rich in love and sex. Every one of them left me with a soft sigh and a need for a cold shower! I’m certain you will enjoy this anthology. Wendy’s Summer Job is HOT!! OMG, what can I say about a book with one woman and three men? The thing I would really like is a book for each of the brothers, though we are told about their loves. The stories do more than sizzle; they leave your fingers scorched. Even the women who start the story thinking they don’t want to be dominated in the beginning are grateful they submitted by the end. Seasons of Seduction II is like an over sized box of Godiva chocolate that you swore you didn’t need, but secretly lusted after. Each story is the better than the last. By the end, you’ll be satiated, but contemplating Seasons of Seduction III. It's another great read by a sextuplet of talented writers. Chalk up another wonderful book by Ellora’s Cave. Wendy’s Summer Job, by Charlotte Boyett-Compo, was humorous and hot from beginning to end. I love the way this story unfolded. Have to say that if I had ever had a job offer like this one…well, no telling where I would be today. These six stories sizzled with sexual exploration and satisfaction, were hotter than the sun’s rays, with smooth finishes like a finely aged whiskey. They certainly delivered seduction as promised.
