COFFEETIME ROMANCE REVIEWS

This is the sequel to the Wyndriver Sinner, where we first met Cynyr and Aingeal. In addition to meeting the creator of the reapers, we gain more insight to the life of Cynyr and Aingeal. We learn about the history of the reapers and their evil counter parts. You will get to meet new reaper characters also. This story is exciting, full of action, and highly arousing. I highly recommend you read it, especially if you enjoyed the previous book.

JUST EROTIC ROMANCE REVIEWS

Fast paced and action-packed, Western Wind Book Two: Reaper’s Revenge was an absolute thrill to read. It was an interesting mix of the Wild West and futuristic science fiction. I was never quite sure what decade the characters were in, but I’m positive that Otaktay was a very bad man. He did not seem to have one redeeming quality. However, that made him the perfect antagonist for Cynyr and Aingeal. Their happily ever after did not come with marriage. As a reader, I enjoyed the non-ending drama the couple experienced and respected their resilience. I will admit to loving the sub-characters, just as much as Aingeal and Cynyr. They tended to have a lot of mouth and grit. Charlotte Boyett-Compo assembled a great cast. Although, this was the second novel in the series, it did stand-alone. I’m interested in what the first novel contained and cannot wait to read the tale. Ms. Boyett-Compo writing should be explored.

EURO-REVIEWS

Excellent!

I happen to love the way Charlotte Boyett-Compo creates these worlds of fiction. I find them quite compelling and intriguing. Boyett-Compo must have been a very imaginative child growing up. The plot to this backwards world is great. It reads like a paranormal western with a twist. Cynyr Cree’s love of his life is kidnapped but before he can save her he has to heal from attacks and that takes awhile. As usual, the reaper characters are always interestingly tough go getters who don’t take any crap. Reaper’s Revenge serves up a bevy of action, love and violence paranormal style that are definitely pleasing. This is a title I most certainly recommend!

LOVE ROMANCE REVIEWS

4.5 Hearts

REAPER’S REVENGE by Charlotte Boyett-Compo is a futuristic erotic romance set on Earth after wars and natural disasters have destroyed most of technology. Civilization has regressed to the time of the old west with six shooters, saloon girls and sheriffs who run the towns. Can we say Buffy meets Firefly? REAPER’S REVENGE is one book that the reader will not want to put down until the very last page.

While this story can stand completely on its own merits, do not cheat yourself. Readers will get to revisit characters from WYNDRIVER SINNER that they have grown to love and will get an opportunity to become better acquainted with Cyn’s fellow Reapers as they join to protect the town of Haines City. While the pace is fast and furious in REAPER’S REVENGE, readers will get a breather from the intensity with the opportunity to chuckle at Moira bossing about the Prime Reaper and watching how the Prime Reaper falls prey to the town’s matchmaking.

This reviewer highly recommends REAPER’S REVENGE to any reader who enjoys unique futuristics, paranormal romances and any lovers of Reapers. Get your copy today! Be sure to pick up the whole series!

ECATAROMANCE SENSUAL REVIEWS

Charlotte Boyett-Compo takes a page out of the old west to tell her story. Haines City has all of the elements of a good western tale and adds aliens and deities of her own. This is not only the fierce love story of Cynyr and Aingeal. It is a battle for the survival of the human race on Terra. Even if the reader is not a science fiction fan, this story’s other themes will draw you in. The Reapers are the sheriffs of the old west, whose job it is to stamp out evil and keep the peace. There is plenty of action to keep the pulse pounding. I want to read more of this series.

THE ROMANCE STUDIO

Reaper’s Revenge is an excellent story and the very entertaining continuation of the Reaper saga. Aingeal and Cynyr are the main attraction of course, since the story revolves around the threat posed by the evil men from Aingeal’s past. Once again their great love and passion is heartwarming to read. But it is also interesting to meet the other Reapers and the goddess they all serve. This story certainly doesn’t lack for excitement, with some truly menacing villains, violent rogues, tragic events, and even a visit from the Triune Goddess Morrigunia. The pace flows smoothly between action and emotional developments. The interactions of these strong Reapers with the townspeople who support Cynyr and Aingeal really makes for fascinating reading. Their loyalty and care for each other is touching. I particularly enjoyed all the teasing the Prime Reaper experienced because of his attraction to the Sheriff’s daughter. Hopefully there will be more romances in the future for the different Reapers. Once again Ms. Boyett-Compo delivers a wonderful story full of engaging characters and emotions.

BITTEN BY BOOKS REVIEWS

Reaper’s Revenge is the second installment in the series after WyndRiver Sinner and I would have to say it was more enjoyable than the first book. While WyndRiver Sinner was positively full of action, this book manages to have more. The plot turns really are wonderful and will keep you on your toes. It, too, has a lot of sexual scenarios, that are without a doubt, hot, but it also has charm and a sense of humor. Simply put: a thoroughly delightful read.

WHIPPED CREAM REVIEWS

I like that Ms. Boyett-Compo writes with force and determination. You can feel the strife and valor of each character. I also liked her vivid scenes with sweeping descriptions of the landscape and inner desires of the individuals. The subplots kept the story rolling and the end left me breathless.

Ms. Boyett-Compo’s love scenes are striking. You feel the passion between the lovers in every instance, including where the sex is not explicit. Sometimes the implicit reads sexier than the explicit. Very well done.

If you like fantasy mixed with a western flair, then Reaper’s Revenge is the novella for you.
