Reader Review
I just finished Bevyn's story and absolutely loved it. It was wonderful to get the look back into how Bevyn and Lea came together. Thank you again for another wonderful book in what is now one of my favorite series.
I look forward to the next books. And of course I will be anxiously awaiting Lord Kheelan's book since he has become my favorite character, although it be the
end of the series o:(.

Reader Review
This is a wonderful romance with mystery and revenge mixed in to give quite a story line. Bevyn and Lea's lonely hearts are caught up in the unwarranted revenge of a hunter with no real reason for the revenge she seeks. I enjoyed the way they worked out their problems and had a busy time doing just that. I highly recommend this novel to anyone who loves a real romance with a paranormal twist.

FALLEN ANGEL REVIEWS

Her Reaper’s Arms is an interesting fantasy romance. Bevyn and Lea are very passionate characters who wholeheartedly enjoy the delights of lovemaking. Lea is a lovely character who, that when she finds the one man for her, she won’t let him go or allow anyone to take him away. Her love for Bevyn, sets him free from his memories and because of that Bevyn does becomes more human, rather than the harsh killer he is initially portrayed. By the end of the story, I was routing for Bevyn and Lea and hoped their future would be a bright one. Charlotte Boyett-Compo has an excellent skill at writing lovely and passionate sex scenes.

JUST EROTIC ROMANCE REVIEWS

Charlotte Boyett-Compo has written another welcomed erotic fantasy romance with excellent and passionate sex scenes. Bevyn and Lea are very hot-blooded characters who wholeheartedly enjoy the delights of lovemaking. I was also pleasantly surprised to read that both Bevyn and Lea were virgins, but even though they lacked expertise, they made up for it greatly with much loving and creativity. Most readers should enjoy Lea and Bevyn’s new found love, including their inventiveness when it comes to some bedroom play. There is this one scene in a stable that will have most readers reaching for a fan! Bevyn quickly goes from a harsh and cold man to an easy humorous one due to his new found love with Lea. Lea is a lovely character who, that when she finds the one man for her, she won’t let him go or allow anyone to take him away. Her love for Bevyn sets him free from his memories and because of that Bevyn does becomes more human, rather than the harsh killer he is initially portrayed. By the end of the story, I was routing for Bevyn and Lea and hoped their future would be a bright one.

THE ROMANCE STUDIO

I love these books and this one certainly lived up to my expectations. Brvyn is a man scarred by evil in his past – lonely, lost and unloved. Lea sees this man as no one else does and his loneliness speaks to her own. Both characters draw you in and make you cheer for their happiness. I love the premise of these books. The setting is a kind of futuristic fantasy world that is similar to the old west. The Reapers remind me of a gunslinger amplified with enough fantasy to peak the imagination. Charlotte has written several series that involve the same planets and people – Reaper’s, Shadowlords, Amazeens, etc. The author suggests reading them in order for better understanding and enjoyment. I have read several of Charlotte’s books but I didn’t read them in the exact right order. I would say that it’s a good book on its own and even better if you are familiar with the Reapers but don’t obsess about reading them in order. They are well-written enjoyable books and she is very good at familiarizing you with the basics in each book without them sounding repetitive.

ROMANCE REVIEWS TODAY
HER REAPER'S ARMS is a another wonderful addition to Charlotte
Boyett-Compo's megaverse. She gives us more of what life is like for
the Reapers and how they are very much like ancient Lawkeepers.
Secondary characters---Sheriff Buford Gilchrist, Widow Cornelia Jones,
the gambler called Riley, Lord Kheelan, and others who live at the
Citadel, add depth and focus to the story. Ms. Boyett-Compo knows her
characters and never repeats herself with any of them. This book may
be a bit more subdued than the others I have read, but the very
quietness and somberness leave the reader with more of an
understanding of what being a Reaper and a Reaper's Mate means. I
recommend it.

ALTERNATIVE-READ
Her Reaper's Arms was a very tender story from the futuristic/fantasy
realm. The loneliness that he finally realized he did not have to
endure was brought to an end. He was finally able to accept himself
and therefore to accept others as well. It is a wonderful heart
warming story of courage of the beauty accepting the beast. A great read.

PARANORMAL ROMANCE REVIEWS
HER REAPER’S ARMS WESTERN WIND SERIES BOOK 5 is a tale of two wounded people coming together in a love meant to last for eternity. Charlotte Boyett-Compo once again weaves her magic in bringing these two people together. We have our hero, Bevyn Coure, orphaned and raised by priests, tortured because he would not submit to a woman, and finally put to death by her, only to be brought back as a Reaper by Morrigunia. Then we have Lea, brought up by her widowed mother, barely making ends meet, until she is also orphaned and forced to support herself. The loneliness within them calls to the other and they end up together. This is one of those stories that left me with a big heartfelt sigh at the end and I highly recommend this series.
