JUST EROTIC ROMANCE REVIEWS

Lt. Colonel Shanee Iphito never dreamed that her destiny lay with a Reaper, but when she is sent on a new mission, she learns new and intriguing things. Ailyn Harmattan does not want to be a Reaper. He was incarcerated on Riezell-Nine and now he lives with an animal inside of him that craves Sustenance and needs tenerse. However, when he meets Shanee he knows that all is not lost. However, the two of them must first fight his family and the enemies who are trying to get their hands on the revenant worms that make Ailyn a Reaper.

This is a wonderfully strong novel, not just in characters and passion, but in the story line as well. The passion is undeniably erotic from the time Shanee and Ailyn meet all the way through to the end. The emotions they evoke in each other come out through their tender yet passionate bouts of sex. Steam seems to rise when the two are in contact with each other. The secondary characters are well-written and phenomenal. Every character involved in the story line is well developed and leaves the reader wanting to learn more and look forward to reading their stories as well. It is easy to see that there will be more to come. Shanee and Ailyn complement each other in both words and actions. The author has obviously taken time and done a fantastic job in making sure that the characters are strong enough for one another, and yet neither over runs the story line itself. Erotic in the telling of the story as well as the passionate sex and tender lovemaking that takes place, Hungers Harmattan is one to keep around.

THE ROMANCE STUDIO

Exciting action will draw the readers into this intriguing story. Someone wants Shanee and Ailyn dead and will do anything to see that happens. But as everyone knows a Reaper does not go down easy and when that Reaper has an Amazeen as a mate they are almost invincible. Everything does not go smoothly for the two and there will be some very close calls that will have the readers waiting anxiously to see what happens. For passion and excitement I recommend readers look for Hunger's Harmattan by Charlotte Boyett-Compo.

This is a well written book with believable characters and a well thought out universe, which so many books of this type don't have. I enjoyed it and would enjoy seeing other books in this world. This is another keep and reread book.

ROMANCE JUNKIES

Shanee is a brave and courageous woman and proves it time and again. Sent to find Ailyn and bring him home, she perseveres through a planet she is unfamiliar with to find the lost heir. Ailyn has changed and he thinks it’s for the worst. His torment at being a vampire is felt throughout the entire story. HUNGER’S HARMATTAN is a whirlwind adventure that leads readers on a burning ride of passion and romance. Charlotte Boyett Compo has a major fan base with her WIND series and HUNGER’S HARMATTAN is another winner.

ROMANCE REVIEWS TODAY EROTIC

Ailyn and Shanee, backed by secondary characters Ryder Bakai, Rory Quinn and others, set out to destroy Reizell Nine and the monsters who tortured men for pleasure in the name of science and research. Factor in Elspeth and another nightmare from Ailyn's past and we have a doozy of a story. Madness, mayhem, explosives, betrayal and fights ensue. It is difficult for me to believe how cold, cruel and malicious some of these characters can be. But, no matter the odds---and those are extremely high---justice does triumph.

Oh my! As in many of Charlotte Boyett-Compo's Reaper stories, HUNGER'S HARMATTAN is filled with danger, revenge and passion. I felt like I was on a cosmic rollercoaster. I heartily recommend the ride.

A bit of The Outer Limits lives in this tale of betrayal, love, and nefarious exeriments. The characters are amazing and the plot of Boyett-Compo's erotic scienice-fiction tale is unique.

READER VIEWS

I had never read any science fiction before and was pleasantly surprised. Once I adjusted my thinking to allow for, what to my mind, astounding improbabilities, “Hunger’s Harmattan” was quite good. I actually want to read the next book, hoping that Shanee’s sacrifice pays off for the lovers.
