A READER'S REVIEW
I never reply to the authors, never thought any of the stories were that good. But yours was fabulous. The erotica was great, not too over the top but the story kept me enthralled. Thanks for writing it. I just got your Reaper series and can't wait to start reading them. Thanks for your ability to write a good story with erotica, but also a great story line that kept my interest. Please write another Ghost Wind type story. It thought it was wonderful.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UNREAD REVIEWS
Grade: A
This book surprised me. Really, really surprised me and is so far above the quality I’ve come to experience from Ellora’s Cave that it, well, just surprised the heck out of me. The plot is tight and well conceived. The dialogue is believable. The sex scenes make sense and aren’t over the top for the story. The characters are well developed and remain true to themselves thru the end of the novel. And that’s another thing - it was TOO SHORT. I wanted more - lots more!
There is a scene toward the end of the novel where one of the characters is brutalized. That was heart-wrenching, but it had to happen that way. The ending is not what you expect, but, again, it had to happen that way. I would love to read a sequel - I want to know what happens next. Buy this eBook.

A READER'S REVIEW
I found the novel absolutely delightful. It was well structured, moved along rapidly, the characters were vividly portrayed, and the tension mounting
gradually toward the climactic scene, violent but expected, was carefully prepared. I couldn't stop reading! And the ending was totally satisfying.
Really excellent work, Charlee.

COFFEE TIME ROMANCE REVIEWS

Ghost Wind just went to the top of my list of favorite romances with a ghost! The love scenes are hot enough to peel paint from your walls. I absolutely adored how well Remy takes care of Lannie both physically and emotionally, and the fact that it is obvious from the get-go that he is exactly what she needs. Lannie has a determined-to-get-on-with-her-life gusto that I simply could not get enough of. Unlike some ghost romances where there can be a sinister element when it pertains to the ghost, Remy is a wonderful, likeable man who any woman would die to call her own, dead or not. I eagerly await the next book from Ms. Boyett-Compo’s illustrious pen, as she never disappoints!

TWO LIPS REVIEWS

With all the excellent stories from prolific and incomparable author
Charlotte Boyett-Compo, any reader would be hard-pressed to select a
favourite. But for this reviewer, that choice has just been made
pertinent. I consider Ghost Wind the absolute best I have read so far,
in a long line of very special works from Ms. Boyett-Compo. Such is
the quality of Ms. Boyett-Compo's story-telling that from the opening
lines the reader is immediately captivated. This author has a
wonderfully entrancing style, and any reader will fall in with the
saga of Lannie and her eventful life. The addition of a complexity of
plot which will launch surprises on every reader with its now you
don't see, now you do, hide-and-seek style will keep readers on the
edge of their seats. At the same time, I'm certain readers will be
divided between cheering on one potential lover or the other, but all
will root for Lannie's eventual success and romance.

ROMANCE JUNKIE REVIEWS:
Blue Ribbon Rating=5: a book I would gush about to all my friends and recommend to anyone and everyone. A real page-turner.
Can a great book give you emotional release? Can love conquer time and space? Ms. Compo did a superb job crafting GHOSTWIND. By incorporating a legend I have never heard of before, if you see yourself at the moment of your death your spirit is trapped in the reflecting glass. I really enjoyed reading this story. Her love scenes are sensual, made me feel like a voyeur. It contained drama from domestic abuse, tyrant of an ex, the delightful cynicism of an old codger and a town where everyone knows everybody. I don't think a reader could ask for anything more. It was so beautifully touching in the end that I had tears streaming down my face and I am so seldom moved to tears it came as a shock to me when I actually noticed them. My advice readers is to have a supply of Kleenex on hand.

MY BOOK CRAVINGS

Wow, I haven't read a ghost story in a long time and so happy that I picked this author's book. I love Charlotte Boyett-Compo anyways, have her on my auto buy list. I wasn't to sure when I saw it was a ghost story and wondered all along how can this work? All I can say is that Charlotte did it with "Bells on". Give this book a chance everyone, you will not be sorry.

ROMANCE REVIEWS TODAY-EROTICA
GHOST WIND is tightly-written and tells a story of tragedy, lust, betrayal, and love. I won't spoil any surprises except to say that Trey isn't as far away as Lannie thought and Brad and Remy have a past. This book has secrets that no one living can know. It is gripping, sad, tense, spooky, chilling, and terrifying at times. The mood is perfect as Charlotte Boyett-Compo takes the reader down a strange path. Who knew that ghosts make such incredible lovers? And how does Raegin Bartlett fit into the puzzle? If you are not afraid of the dark, and spicy, hot shivery tales are your choice of reading material, leave a light on and enjoy GHOST WIND.

THE ROMANCE READERS' CONNECTION

GHOST WIND is a truly wonderful read. The story is sensual and fun, with many exceptional characters, a few funny moments, and some tough issues. I do have to warn readers that this story does contain some elements pertaining to the heroine that may be disturbing. With that said, this is a great book with a strong storyline.
This was my first story by Ms. Boyett-Compo, however I hope to add more of her work to my reading pile shortly. I hope to see these characters again. If you like strong characters, a fast paced engaging story, and a
few tough issues, along with lots of heat, then be sure to get Ms. Boyett-Compo’s GHOST WIND today.

JOYFULLY REVIEWED
Ghost Wind took my breath away with its intensity. I love Charlotte Boyett-Compo's books, and this one was as good as the rest. I enjoyed the line Lannie said when she mentioned Reapers. The whole cast of characters, were so lovable that I want to see more of them. I want Brad to have a happy ending. I would love to see more of Alton and Rae and of course Lannie and Remy.
There is a very graphic violent part near the end of the story. It wouldn't be a Charlee book if it didn't have this scene, but I felt the need to warn those readers who are opposed to something so intense. I had to skim one page because it was a topic I don't stomach well, but that section of the story was a necessary evil.
The ending left me hungering for more. I hope this talented author will write more books set in Rock Creek so that I can spend more time with these characters. I love the way I can really hate a character, and then Ms. Boyett-Compo will turn my world upside down and I find myself doing a 180.

BITTEN BY BOOKS REVIEWS

I really enjoyed reading Ghost Wind and I think Ms. Boyett-Compo does a great job of developing her characters and her story. I wasn’t sure what I would think of this book with having a spectral lover, but it made the story all the more intriguing. She also brings out how dangerous an abusive spouse can be and how irrational and violent the ex-spouse can get. I thought it was an interesting premise to base her book on. I highly recommend this book to read and look forward to her books in the future.
