With the exception of the homestead, the pictures you see here all came
from Rock Creek near Kellogg and Grinnell, Iowa. The plot of land where Remy's fictional house is located is adjacent and to the
south of the old pioneer cemetery. The road into the cemetery heads east and there are, indeed, unmarked graves beyond the chain link fence.
As you can see, there really is a huge 'hanging' tree at the rear of the plot and the entire area is enclosed with a rusted barbed wire
fence and is overgrown with weeds.
