MANIC READERS REVIEWS

Captain Rynlyn Rede just finished watching several members of his crew die, not to mention his ship is in pieces, and the *#!@? at command thinks that he should kick back and relax for a few days? Booze and anger cloud his mind until Rynlyn wakes with a throbbing headache and the memory of a touch that makes him yearn for more. Tessa is a courtesan. It's her job to relax the stressed-out, burned-up military men who visit The Chinook, and Tessa is very good at her job, never getting emotionally involved with the soldiers until she met Rynlyn. When Rynlyn tracks her down and sees her for the first time, he falls head over heels in love with Tessa. Can he convince her that they are destined for each other or will fate and old secrets tear them apart?

The seventh in the Windverse series by Charlotte Boyett- Compo, Craving's Chinook, is a great addition to this world. I enjoyed how delicately the author was able to weave in references to the other stories, while still making this book singular enough to be read on its own. I also really liked how she handled revealing Rynlyn's parentage. I have to admit that I jumped to conclusions twice while reading this book, one was completely wrong and the other was applied to the wrong man. Curious about what they were? Read the book and see if you make the same mistakes that I did, the ending is a heck of a twist.

LITERARY NYMPHS REVIEWS

Charlotte Boyett-Compo has done it again! I am at a loss when it comes to describing the gambit of emotions that assaulted me while reading this book. The well-written characters draw you into the story. Between their bravery and banter, you will not find one dull moment in this story. Fans of the Reapers will be elated, and newcomers will find a reason to buy the first six books in this saga. I’m anticipating the next story in hopes that one day Rune Degendesch, a werewolf character in this story, will find love rapping at his door in the near future.

DARK ANGEL REVIEWS

I have to give kudos to Ms. Boyett-Compo, she knows how to write an erotic story with sizzling erotic scenes, develop excellent characters and add some crazy twists to the plot that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

I enjoyed CRAVING’S CHINOOK and I am interested in reading the books before and the ones she writes after.

ALTERNATIVE READ

I loved this one. A strong man with a gentle woman who's strength is understated, yet is steel encased in velvet. The trials the two of them endure in the course of this story make for a fully rounded tale, yet the supporting characters add dimensions that expand it and add to the complexity in such a way as to make this a page turner you won't put down.
