This is a must read for all adventure lovers because the action never stops throughout the entire book. The mystery of Breva and Lord Savidos only adds to the plot. Ardor is really caught in the middle, but finds herself in the middle of a very interesting mystery. The love scenes are sensual and full of intense tension. Ardor's Leveche is the next book in the Windverse series, and any fan of the Windverse saga will have to pick up this book. Charlotte Boyett-Compo’s WindVerse series has become a favorite of mine and Ardor’s Leveche was a great addition. Ms. Boyett-Compo has an excellent imagination as evidenced by her ability to create a world where the people and places feel real and somewhat familiar. Ardor was a strong heroine and I enjoyed reading her story. Lord Savidos was very sexy and commanding, definitely an alpha-male. Ardor was his perfect match and they made a wonderful couple. The sex between them was sensual and exciting, though the focus of this story was the action more so than the carnal relations of the characters. I anxiously await another installment in Charlotte Boyett-Compo’s fascinating WindVerse series. Ms. Boyett-Compo, please keep them coming! Ardor's Leveche is another feather in Charlotte Boyett Compo's cap, set in a futuristic world, she further develops the beginnings of the Reapers and their spread through out the universe. She manages to intersperse a great story with very hot, very sensual scenes that are guaranteed to make you wish for your own Reaper. Charlotte Boyett-Compo weaves a story of action and adventure laced with generous amounts of hot, steamy sex. Ardor and Gabriel must overcome great odds to achieve their goal. Along the way, they learn what it means to find love. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more stories by this author. Amidst the erotic encounters lurks a real plot with enough intrigue to keep the science fiction aficionados engaged. I must say the use of the terms 'Milady' and 'wench' is a bit jarring in a story that feels more futuristic than historical, but it doesn't deter from the tale. Welcome back REAPERS! I love the Wind series’ by Charlotte Boyett-Compo. Although I will warn readers, you should read the first book in the WindVerse series if you want to completely understand the intricacy of the plot that Ms. Boyett-Compo weaves throughout Ardor’s Leveche. Ms. Boyett-Compo has once again graced her loyal fans of the Reapers with another winner in ARDOR’S LEVECHE. Ardor is a wonderful heroine. She is smart, ambitious, fearless and much the fighter. Watching her thought processes and her growing attachment for her ‘enemy’ was a real treat. Lord Savidos is the ultimate alpha warrior though he seems to have retained more of his humanity than a lot of the Reapers. His growing love and care for Ardor brought tears to this reviewer’s eyes. This reviewer looks forward to any book with Ms. Boyett-Compo’s Reapers however ARDOR’S LEVECHE did leave some unanswered questions such as what is a Riezell Guardian and just how unique is their Primary? (Author's Note: Check out FATED MATES for the answer to this question :) Hopefully these will be answered in upcoming books or perhaps putting out an encyclopedia covering all of her books. Shaiha REVIEW #9 ENCHANTED RAMBLINGS REVIEWS A sweeping action-adventure with plenty of sizzling sex scenes, this is part of Boyett-Compo's Windverse series detailing the story of the Reapers. Although it can be read as a standalone, it's better if you read the previous books to gain a deeper understanding of events and places mentioned in this story. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, which is full of suspense and mystery, twists and turns. Gabriel/Savidos and Breva were both strong, fascinating characters, and the sexual tension between Gabriel and Ardor was tangible.
