A passionate and heartwarming story, Lucien’s Khamsin has several themes throughout the novel, which consistently kept my interest and emotionally satisfied my curious nature. This new apocalyptic world filled with disease and vampire-like creatures is artfully painted, allowing the dark and sorrowful world to come to life. I would like to read even more about survival in this new world due to the author’s comprehensive descriptions of its inhabitants. Nonetheless, I felt the author described a frightening world that drew me to the amazing three-dimensional characters from the strong yet fearful Khamsin, who only knows life as an orphan in a frightening war-filled world, to the heartbroken yet formidable Lucien, who just wants a moment of peace and happiness in his life. The sex scenes are warm at one point and then fiery at another. They grow with intensity, allowing the scenes to build to a delicious climatic end. This novel has a little of everything I desire in a book: a despicable villain, an odd and frightening world, a strong female character and an alpha male who needs her love. I truly enjoyed it and will positively be looking for what else Ms. Boyett-Compo has coming our way.

In Lucien’s Khamsin, Charlotte Boyett-Compo has created passionate and sensual characters in a post apocalyptic world, another sizzler in the WindWorld Series. This is a wonderfully sensual novel with great character depth, intense sexuality, and an encompassing love story set in an alternate time line. COFFEETIME ROMANCE REVIEWS

Ms. Boyett-Compo really sets the pattern with this paranormal. The characters in this story
come to life as betrayal, deceit, and evil have their toll. Lucien will tear your heart out
with sadness from his past but still stands proud as an alpha hero. Khamsin's
determination not to be dominated will touch your heart. The secondary characters were
also very influential to the story and plot. The sexual encounters were so steamy and hot
they will take your breath away. A true masterpiece you do not want to miss.

LUCIEN'S KHAMSIN is a wonderful story of a post-war world in which two races rely on each other. Two people come together in a way that changes the world for all Revenants and humans alike.

SCRIBES' WORLD

You don't expect an erotica tale to have much more to it than lust and sex.
This story definitely isn't what you'd expect. Like any other of
Charlotte's books I've read, this one is deep into world building,
characteration and plot. The only difference is that the love scenes are a
whole lot more descriptive, and definitely hot.
If you want 'sex only', this isn't the book you want to read. If you want a
great story with some really hot sex written in at all the appropriate
places, then this is one you definitely want to take a look at, especially
if you've read anything from Charlette Boyett-Compo before. It's typical
Charlee--she's a master storyteller, and definitely worth reading. I haven't
read one yet that I didn't enjoy from cover to cover. I'm looking forward
to the next story in the series---four princes means four stories, right?
:-) Definitely recommended.

THE ROMANCE STUDIO

This book is a vampire lovers dream and will certainly please readers
of this genre. Lucien is sensual and sensitive, but there is also an
air of danger and darkness about him. Khamsin is a great heroine and
liked from the start. Her courage will have readers cheering and her
bravery is a breath of fresh air. The relationship between Lucien and
Khamsin is intense from the start and readers will turn the pages with
baited breath to see what will happen next between the fiery couple.

LOVES ROMANCE
Lucien’s Khamisin is an interesting, if at times slow, vampire story that will either leave the reader scratching their heads or rooting for Lucien and Khamsin. This reviewer thought Ms. Boyett-Compo did an exceptional job telling Lucien’s back-story and how he became a revenant prince. His character development was interesting quite complex. Khamsin was the perfect foil for this dark and dangerous character. Pure in heart, she leds him from the dark and towards a love that he thought he wouldn’t find again. The characters connect but only after several chapters go by and the reader will be rooting for them to hurry it up a little as the pace to get there is a little slow. The flow of the book was interesting and at times quite entertaining. Some secondary characters were able to move the story along nicely when it slowed a little. Ms. Boyett-Compo did a nice try in creating a world where the worlds as we know it is gone, magical and mystical beings are the dominant and humans are the minority. This reviewer felt it could have been a little more expanded but overall was a delightful tale that will keep the reader enchanted to the end. Lucien’s Khamisn is a great story to read on a cool summer night to warm the blood up for a rousing time.

FALLEN ANGEL REVIEWS

Lucien’s Khamsin by Charlotte Boyett-Compo is the best read of the season. Each and every page is filled with the majesty of romance and seduction of the paranormal. I was enthralled from the moment I read the prologue. So many new ideas have been formulated about vampires and their presence and acceptance in our world, but never like this. You can almost feel the anguish Lucien and Khamsin feel when they are separated and smell the scent of deceit as they uncover a spy amongst their midst. Betrayal, lust, love, and royalty incinerate the pages of Lucien’s Khamsin by Charlotte Boyett-Compo. I highly recommend that if you read only one book this fall, make sure it is this one.

ENCHANTED IN ROMANCE REVIEWS

WindWorld - Lucien's Khamsin pulled me in immediately. The results of the strike were horrendous but didn’t go into such detail as to turn me off, only enough to let me “see” the results. The Revenants…these are wonderful, I loved how they lived, what they are and the fact that they don’t loose their sense of humanity. Lucien is a hero in every sense of the word, but has his vulnerabilities and his shortcomings, which makes him “real” to me, and Khamsin is well matched to him. Charlotte Boyett-Compo is a wonderful storyteller that has crafted a fantastic tale that I enjoyed immensely. I highly recommend WindWorld - Lucien's Khamsin, it’s definitely a book that for me is a keeper!

MYSTIQUE BOOKS REVIEWS

Boyett-Compo’s apocalyptic world is vivid and frightfully real. The two lovers don’t fall into each others arms but the relationship grows in depth and intensity over time. And finally, Sibylline makes a chilling villainous.
