The common thread in this anthology is two people coming together, a man and women meant to be together always. All three of our women are exceptionally strong and fully capable of dealing with their alpha mates. The stories are all wonderfully written and draw the reader in from the very first page. As we start reading, we realize these couples were meant to be together and is a wonderful celebration of love. I highly recommend this anthology to all lovers of erotic romance! Chere REVIEW #5 FALLEN ANGEL REVIEWS 4 Angels This is a very interesting science fiction love story that integrates the two different styles quite well. The writing is literate and engaging, and there are some twists and turns of the plot that will surprise the reader. I found it slightly difficult to follow in some spots, because the back-story is revealed piecemeal throughout the action. The reader must flip back and forth in some places to understand the timeline. This was a minor problem, however. The love scenes are quite graphic, and, in some cases, funny – the characters seem to have a liking for role-playing during their love-making. Jean REVIEW #6 THE ROMANCE STUDIO 3.5 Hearts Secrets of the Wind is yet another strong story in this collection, and it's mainly due to the forceful personality of Chas. She's a wonderful heroine and helps make Ruan's change from playboy prince to man in love much more realistic and plain old fun. Ruan is used to getting whomever he wants in his bed and Chas's displays of independence show him that he will have to use more than his charm to gain access to Chas's heart. It has brought together three exceptionally talented authors to form Fated Mates. If you like your heroines strong and your heroes even stronger this is a definite buy to add to your collection. This will be an anthology that you will want to read again and again. Bear in mind that although the stories are engrossing and keep you turning the page, these stories are not for the faint of heart. The emotions and eroticism make for some explosive moments. I only wish each story would have been longer. I hope that in the future each author revisits the characters and gives us follow-ups. Tetrik, Micah and Ruan are three Alpha’s that you won’t easily forget. Raashema REVIEW #8 ENCHANTED IN ROMANCE 4.5 Unicorns Although all of the additions to this anthology were excellent, Secrets of the Wind was my favorite. The world that Charlotte Boyett-Compo describes is intriguing. It leaves the reader wanting to learn more and spend more time there. Chastain is a strong willed, self-sufficient heroine and it’s always refreshing to have a hero who appreciates that in a woman. My only complaint with the story was that both the hero and heroine have sex with other characters in story and since it was such a short story it took a little away from the romance between the hero and heroine for me. However, the story was excellent in every other way and readers won’t be disappointed. "Secrets of the Wind" was by far the best story in this anthology and deserves 4 stars. Unfortunately I'd only rate the other stories 2 stars each. I've not read any full length novels by Ms Boyett-Compo, but will now check out her Windworld series as several titles are available in print. I cannot say I am inspired to check out other stories by either Sally Painter or Delilah Devlin.
