ROMANCE JUNKIES REVIEWS

The Cavemen are back and better then ever in this newest anthology, ELLORA’S CAVEMEN: DREAMS OF THE OASIS IV. As always, there are multiple genres represented so that readers can experience old favorites and try out something new as well. As a longtime reader of the Cavemen books I am extremely impressed with this one. There isn’t a single story in this book that I didn’t absolutely love and in several cases I even visited the author’s web sites to find out if there would be other books involving characters or themes that I’d like to read more about. Congratulations to all of the authors! You truly outdid yourselves on this one. I absolutely loved each and every one of the stories in this anthology and feel privileged to have gotten a chance to review it.

STING OF THE WIND by Charlotte Boyett-Compo:

Shannon O’Rourke is one of the privileged few humans to work among the supernatural beings at Durbin Enterprises. She takes great pride in the strides the company has made in medical research on blood diseases and the blood bank that aids both human and otherworldly creatures. As Shae Durbin’s special personal assistant, she gets the benefit of his expertise and loving which he’s perfected over the past five hundred years.

I’ve often jokingly said that hospitals and blood banks have vampires in the basement so I got a real kick out of this whole storyline. Charlotte Boyett-Compo has contributed a fun storyline with truly likeable characters. http://www.windlegends.org/

All six erotic authors give a hundred percent to this anthology to create one of the best. If you have not read one of their books, please, do pick up Ellora's Caveman: Dreams of the Oasis IV. Familiarize yourself with the wonderful and carnal crafting of what the different authors bring to this novel. Sting of the Wind is by Charlotte Boyett-Compo. This is the first time this reviewer has read a story penned by Ms. Boyett-Compo and it will not be the last! Sting of the Wind is the crown jewel of this anthology. It is erotic, exciting and excellent. They do not get any better than that.

TWO LIPS REVIEWS

Ellora’s Cavemen: Dreams of the Oasis IV is one the best anthologies that I’ve ever read. Each story is fantastic in its own right, and the sum of this compilation is even more than its individual parts, which definitely classifies it as OUT OF THIS WORLD! From humor that’ll have you laughing out loud to erotic love scenes that’ll make you want to figure out how to hook your vibrator up to a car battery, you’ll thoroughly enjoy this entire book, that’s a guarantee!

Shae is easily one of the sexiest vampires I’ve ever met. His confidence and entertaining sense of humor make him irresistible. The way he cherishes Shannon will warm your heart (as well as other places) and this happy ending is one you don’t want to miss! Sting of the Wind is a sweet love story with some very sexy scenes that have you turning the pages, wanting more, more, more!

JOYFULLY REVIEWED

Dreams of the Oasis IV is an entertaining collection of stories that will make for perfect reading on a cold winter’s night.

Sting of the Wind is an erotic tale of vampires and other supernatural beings. The love that builds between Shannon and Shae is very real and erotic. I liked the idea that the company was working to help the human world, as well as the supernatural world. Vampire lovers will enjoy this tale.

ROMANCE DIVAS REVIEWS

Charlotte Boyett-Compo offers a different vision of vampire romance. The heroine is older than most romantic heroines, but that makes her more interesting. This story introduces a second male into an existing couple's relationship, but the focus is really more on the existing relationship. The story is lovely and touching, which is what makes it such a good read.

RRTEROTIC REVIEWS

Ellora’s Cave has once again succeeded in bringing together six of it’s most talented authors to create an anthology that deserves a place on your keeper shelf. If you can’t find a story or two to love in this book, then you’re entirely too difficult to please. Stop by and get your copy of DREAMS OF THE OASIS IV today. I highly recommend this book.

The plot (to Sting of the Wind ) is surprisingly well developed for such a short story and the characters are enjoyable. The sex that Shannon and Shae (and on one notable occasion, a friend) share is undeniably hot.

FALLEN ANGEL REVIEWS

Wow, this was a different Charlotte Boyett-Compo than what I’m used to, but no less fabulous for the difference. A short story that gives you a glimpse into the past twenty years, Sting of the Wind was a great read that brought you into the boardroom and bedroom of these two characters.
